Coca-Cola’s reduced-calorie cola sweetened from natural sources now available 
nation-wide

TORONTO, September 23, 2016 – Canadians love the great taste of Coca-Cola, and now, for the first time ever, they will be able to enjoy great Coca-Cola taste with 50 per cent fewer calories than regular colas. Sweetened from natural sources – a blend of stevia extract and cane sugar - Coca-Cola Life joins other trademark brands marketed under the “Taste the Feeling” tagline, Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero.

Beginning today, Coca-Cola Life will be available in 500mL PET bottles, 12 and 15-packs of 355mL cans and six-packs of 222mL mini cans at major retailers nation-wide.

Coca-Cola Life adds to Coca-Cola’s growing portfolio in Canada, which includes over 300 beverages, more than 70 of which are reduced-, low- or no-calorie. It also joins an increasing number of Coca-Cola beverages sweetened in part by stevia extract.

Through an extensive sampling initiative, one million Canadians will get to try Coca-Cola Life. The launch is also supported by a multi-faceted marketing campaign including television advertising, a retail activation program, digital and social media support, public relations and in-store POS.
