Across Canada Coca-Cola is embracing the spirit of giving this holiday season. Here are just a few examples of how we are giving back to the communities we serve:

In Toronto we’ve had the Coca-Cola Holiday Truck out making toy donations to local programs like CP24 Chum Christmas Wish and CTV Toronto’s Toy Mountain benefiting The Salvation Army.

In Brampton the Holiday Truck also participated in the Brampton Board of Trade’s 31st annual Santa Claus Parade with speakers mounted on the sides, blasting out Christmas tunes to keep the crowds dancing and energized. The evening was extra special for our Brampton associates as we celebrated our 15th anniversary in that community this past October.

24 of our associates from our Kingston facility and their families rode in the city’s Nighttime Santa Claus Parade in front of 20,000 spectators. In fact, the float from Kingston was such a big hit that the judges awarded us Best Retro Float of the night!

Kingston decorated their truck with hundreds of LED lights and a classic Christmas wreath on the front.

Our Coca-Cola associates in Ottawa had a presence in not one but FIVE Santa Claus parades all across the Capital Region! We also tried to make this Christmas a little greener out there by driving in one of hybrid-electric trucks decked out in 7,200 twinkling Christmas lights.

Ottawa’s parade float had a giant inflatable polar bear in tow and a big box ready to accept toy donations.

In Alberta Coca-Cola donated to CTV Calgary’s Toy Mountain campaign which is supporting the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter and in Montreal we made a donation to the Generations Foundation 2016 Holiday Food and Toy Drive.
