Vibrant reds, yellows and oranges are the colours normally associated with fall, but if 4-H has anything to say about it this season it will also include a whole lot of green!

This November, 4-H Canada is calling on all its supporters to step out in their best green clothing to show their support of the 4-H movement. As the organization celebrates over 100 years of bringing their “Learn To Do By Doing” spirit to Canadian youth, they are encouraging 4-H’ers to go online and share not just pictures of themselves in green but also stories of how 4-H has impacted their lives and their communities.

Major landmarks from coast to coast are getting into the spirit of the 4-H movement as well and donning green this November. Canada Place Sails of Light in Vancouver, the 3D Toronto sign in Nathan Phillips Square and the Charlottetown City Hall in Prince Edward Island are just a few of the places that will be lit up green at different points this month.

On November 1st, Coca-Cola Canada joined in on Show Your 4-H Colours Day by inviting employees at our King Street office to get their picture taken in a 4-H t-shirt toasting the 4-H movement. Coca-Cola Canada is proud of its partnership with 4-H and privileged to support the incredible work 4-H does to help build responsible, caring and contributing youth across Canada. This past July, Coca-Cola helped support the 2017 Global 4-H Network Summit in Ottawa which saw 485 4-H’ers come together from around the world to collaborate and celebrate how 4-H is helping to build a brighter and more sustainable future.

If your life has been touched by 4-H, visit or share your story over Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the #ShowYour4HColours hashtag.
