“Taste the Feeling”, Coca-Cola’s new global campaign, made its Canadian debut Feb. 9 with a special event in Toronto. More than 450 of the country’s top media/social media influencers, customers and partners celebrated the kickoff in the historic Distillery District.

The event space was transformed to bring to life the look and feel of the new campaign, starting with glass bottle ice sculptures and a giant contour bottle projected on the side of the building. Inside, a vintage Ford Mustang in Coca-Cola red provided the perfect photo op for media and bloggers. Guests also experienced edible bubbles made out of Coca-Cola while 1950s glam servers on roller skates made sure everyone had an ice-cold Coke in hand.

Coca-Cola-inspired food and cocktails were served, and guests were treated to a surprise performance from Montreal’s own Sam Roberts, DJ Baby Yu and Conrad Sewell, the voice of the “Taste the Feeling” anthem.

By 9 p.m., #TasteTheFeeling was trending on social media and was covered by key Canadian media outlets.

“Taste The Feeling” also swept the country with Coca-Cola executives visiting 27 facilities across Canada in January. From Halifax to Victoria, Coca-Cola Canada employees gathered to hear about the new campaign and get a sneak peek at the new commercials.
